ACT's 2017 Chapter of the Year
In April, the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) hosted its annual Emerging Mobility Summit (EMS) in Austin. The event brought together over 100 subject matter experts, community leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, and thought leaders focused on the future of transportation and mobility. The goal was to facilitate conversations to identify paths forward, opportunities for research, and what might be in store for the future of TDM.
On the eve of the EMS 2019, The ACT Red River Chapter in partnership with ACT Red River member Movability and Google hosted a happy hour & panel discussion just for members and invited Emerging Mobility Summit attendees. Attendance was high and the discussions and insights offered by three Austin-area employers and their innovative local, regional, and global approaches to employee mobility was highly praised by those attending.
The ACT Red River Chapter looks forward to continued partnerships with it members on such type events!
